Privacy policy

Information pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR for the website slayper.com. This is a translation; the German version is legally binding.

1. At a glance

• This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser.
• There is no tracking, no analytics and no advertising.
• Fonts, images and the explainer video are hosted on our own server. No content is loaded from third parties.
• We do not keep an access log. Your IP address is only stored briefly in the event of technical errors (see section 3).

2. Controller

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. If you have any questions about data protection, please write to the address above.

3. Providing the website

So that your browser can display the website, our server processes technically necessary data with every request: your IP address, date and time, the requested address and the information your browser sends on its own (for example browser type and language). This data is only used to deliver the page.

We do not keep an access log. If a technical error occurs while delivering a page, the web server writes an entry to its error log. This entry contains the IP address, the time and the requested address. The error log is renewed daily and entries are deleted after two days at the latest.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and without errors.

Hosting

Our server is located in the data center of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, at the Falkenstein/Vogtland site in Germany. We operate the server ourselves; Hetzner provides the infrastructure and acts on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU.

Encrypted connection

The website is only accessible via an encrypted connection (HTTPS with TLS). Data exchanged between your browser and our server cannot be read by third parties.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (for example name, email address, phone number and the content of your inquiry) in order to answer your inquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to a contract or its preparation, for example a demo request. In all other cases it is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering your inquiry.

Our mailboxes are hosted by mailbox.org, a service of Heinlein Hosting GmbH, Schwedter Str. 8/9A, 10119 Berlin, Germany, which acts on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Automatic notifications of the Slayper service, for example confirmation codes, are sent from notify@slayper.com, also via mailbox.org. Replies to these notifications go to the person the transfer or request comes from.

We delete your information once your inquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. We retain business correspondence for up to six or ten years in accordance with German commercial and tax law (Section 257 HGB, Section 147 AO).

5. Scope

This privacy policy applies to the website at slayper.com in all language versions; slayper.de redirects there. We provide separate information on the use of the Slayper service itself (apps, transfers, download and verification pages).

6. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

To exercise your rights, an email to info@slayper.com is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Data Protection Commissioner of the State of Brandenburg (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg), Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow, Germany.

7. Obligation to provide data and automated decision-making

You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. Without the technically necessary data described in section 3, however, the website cannot be displayed. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
